Rachelle Riddle is your candidate for State Representative in the 71st District. She has a BA in Political Science from EKU and has owned a small business in Rockcastle County for over 11 years. She believes in transparency and accountability in government and has volunteered for 3 years live-streaming the city of Mt. Vernon’s Council meetings. She is familiar with the concerns of the people in the 71st and believes in the power of common sense bipartisanship. She has served as an election officer for over 15 years, led the campaign for alcohol sales in Mt. Vernon, and continues to advocate for clean water and updated sewage in Rockcastle Co. Rachelle is dedicated to real policy solutions. She hopes to earn your trust and support in our campaign for a better Kentucky.
As a small business owner and single mother, Rachelle understands the challenges facing our local economy. She knows that creating good-paying jobs, affordable childcare, and supporting small business are essential to our community's success. She understands the importance of infrastructure in District 71 to grow our local economy. Rachelle will work to invest in our local economy, create new opportunities for growth, and ensure that everyone in the 71st district has the opportunity to succeed. As the daughter of retired teachers and a college graduate, Rachelle grasps the fundamental importance of education. She will fight for the access and funding that will elevate our Kentucky schools. Rachelle has the tools and knowledge to show up and get the job done for district 71.
